About the project
Tanaav (SonyLIV, 2022) is Applause Entertainment's Indian adaptation of the Israeli series Fauda: a special forces unit in the Kashmir Valley learns that the militant leader it thought it had killed is still alive and planning something big.
The name means tension. In the main title, a painted doll, a samovar, a medal, a rifle, a map of Kashmir and a flower blooming with bullets hang in a cold blue haze, bound in rope and wire pulled taut, until they start to shatter.
