Qala
About the project
Qala (Netflix, 2022) is Anvitaa Dutt's period psychological drama about a 1940s playback singer, haunted by her past and her mother's disdain, who comes apart at the height of her success.
The main title drifts from a frozen landscape into a snowbound house and its ornate interiors, following fragile, gold-veined wings.
