Browncoat — Adrift
About the project
A visualiser for 'Adrift', one of the two tracks on Tether, the 2021 EP by Browncoat (the alias of producer Nawed Khan) on the Berlin label Steyoyoke.
The EP grew out of how the pandemic kept most of us tethered to our homes, the same idea behind its artwork, and the visualiser rebuilds that in 3D: a lone astronaut hugging his knees on top of a columned building, dark tethers coiling behind him while rocks drift past.
